The ceremony, held on November 14, 2024, recognized the achievements of KSU scholars who successfully completed the immersive academy, gaining hands-on insights into the complexities of modern law enforcement. Frankfort Police Chief Napier and Assistant Chief Tracy presented graduates with certificates of completion.

Over the course of seven (7) sessions, participants engaged in educational sessions led by law enforcement professionals from the Frankfort Police Department. Topics included: Operational Patrol, Academy Training and Mindset, Criminal Investigations, Special Victim鈥檚 Unit, Community Policing Advocates, Tactical Response Unit and K9 Operations.

Students were able to ask question of and interact with real life law enforcement professionals. The interaction fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities faced by police officers in their communities.
