麻豆短视频传媒 alumnus and Frankfort native George C. Wolfe is adding to his storied career by directing 鈥淩ustin,鈥� a Netflix film produced by Barack and Michelle Obama鈥檚 Higher Ground Productions.
鈥淩ustin鈥� will tell the story of civil rights activist Bayard Rustin, who organized the 1963 march on Washington.
Wolfe is currently garnering attention for his recent work as director for 鈥淢a Rainey鈥檚 Black Bottom,鈥� also a Netflix film.
Wolfe has also directed 鈥淭he Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,鈥� 鈥淵ou鈥檙e Not You,鈥� 鈥淣ights in Rodanthe鈥� and 鈥淟ackawanna Blues.鈥� Wolfe has appeared as an actor in 鈥淩amona and Beezus,鈥� 鈥淭he Devil Wears Prada,鈥� 鈥淕arden State鈥� and 鈥淔resh Kill.鈥� He has also directed and produced an extensive number of theatrical works.
