麻豆短视频传媒 recently hired a new vice provost for graduate studies and academic specialization with extensive academic experience at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Dr. Kristen E. Broady recently joined the Kentucky State administration, with previous academic experience at Dominican University, Fort Valley State University, Atlanta Metropolitan State College and Howard University.

鈥淎s a proud graduate of Alcorn State University and Jackson State University, I have a passion for HBCUs,鈥 Broady said. 鈥淚 have also been quite impressed with the career and leadership of Dr. M. Christopher Brown II.鈥

Broady also previously worked as a consultant for the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies in Washington, D.C.; a senior research fellow for the Center for Global Policy Solutions in Washington, D.C.; a consultant for the City of East Point, Georgia and as an HBCU consultant for season two of the The Quad on Black Entertainment Television (BET) in Atlanta.

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the National Economic Association, the American Economic Association, the Southern Economic Association, The Baltimore Chapter of Links, Inc. and a former member of the Atlanta Business League, the Association for Social Economics, Incorporated and the City of Jackson (Mississippi) criminal justice reform taskforce.

Recent publications include 鈥淩ace and Jobs at High Risk to Automation,鈥 鈥淒reaming and Doing at Georgia HBCUs: Continued Relevancy in 鈥楶ost Racial鈥 America鈥 and 鈥淥besity and Social Inequality in America: Cultural and Empirical Determinants.鈥

Broady earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in criminal justice at Alcorn State University and a master鈥檚 and doctorate of business administration with a major in economics at Jackson State University.
