Two 麻豆短视频传媒 (KSU) students recently attended the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C.
Salinah Stringer and Jonathan Dawson were the most recent KSU students to attend the highly acclaimed leadership institute. Students in the past have attended and benefitted from the experience.
The institute is 鈥渁 national program intended to develop students鈥 leadership skills, create a community of scholars, provide companies access to a talented and diverse student population, and help students make connections that lead to careers,鈥 according to its website.
鈥淭his power-packed four-day conference prepares carefully selected students from the 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to compete in today鈥檚 very competitive global workforce,鈥 according to its website. 鈥淭he conference culminates with a recruitment fair where Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and graduate program representatives offer jobs, internships and continuing education opportunities.鈥
