麻豆短视频传媒鈥檚 Department of University Safety and Security Affairs unveiled four new police vehicles this morning, Feb. 21, at KSU鈥檚 police department.
The department purchased three 2013 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, which are emblazoned with the school鈥檚 name in green and gold and the university鈥檚 Thorobred mascot. One unmarked, black 2014 Ford sport utility vehicle was also purchased. The vehicles are all-wheel drive and equipped with modern police equipment.
James Berry, KSU鈥檚 director of University Safety and Security Affairs, watched as the vehicles were delivered to campus on Thursday. He said he was thrilled that the day had arrived as the university鈥檚 old vehicles were in need of replacement when he assumed his position at KSU last year.
鈥淚t鈥檚 just an awesome feeling,鈥 Berry said.
KSU President Mary Evans Sias joined Berry and Lorenzo Esters, vice president for Student Affairs, as well as many members of the university鈥檚 senior staff, for a view of the new vehicles.
